Here are some the most frequently asked questions from photography clients
Q: Can I do my own hair and make-up?
A: I currently do not own a personal studio location. Therefore, at this time, clients are responsible for their own hair and make-up applications.
Q: How long is the shoot?
A: Every shoot has a time limit to be shot within. Please reference your package details for this information. If you believe you will need longer, this can be discussed and arrangements can be made.
Q: How long does it take to see my proofs?
A: 7-10 business days are required for editing of your photographs. Your images will then be applied to a secure gallery for your viewing.
Q: How long does it take to get the finished product?
A: After you have responded to your gallery (via an email or text message) and approve of the images, it will take up to 5 business days to process your discs/flashdrive and it will be available for pick-up or shipping at that time. (If your final product is being mailed, it will be sent via USPS media mail.)
Q: How do I pay for my session?
A: You may pay for your session with cash, check, or credit card or paypal.
Q: Do I have to pay a deposit to hold the date?
A: For regular sessions, no. If you are having a Boudoir session or Birth Photography, a $100 non-refundable retainer is required.
Q: Can I reschedule?
A: Yes you can reschedule once with no penalty, if you notify us at least 7 days before the session. The penalty if closer than 7 days is $50.00 added to your session fee. If it is less than 24 hours notice you will lose your retainer.
Q: What other products do you offer?
A: At this time, printing is not offered.
Q: Will you use my images on the Internet?
A: Every photograph taken during a regular session is subject to being applied to the website and social media accounts owned by Robin Cassady. Boudoir sessions and Birth Photography will be secured and the clients choose the images they are okay with being shared.
Q: Do you retouch the images?
A: All final images are ran through editing software. Any scars, marks, etc that a client would like removed from a photo, must be requested before the final product is completed. If a client is aware of something that might appear in the photographs, it is the clients responsibility to make the photographer aware of this. Robin may contact you during the editing process with retouching suggestions or questions.
Q: Can I bring a friend?
A: During a regular session it is recommended to bring someone to carry your things and encourage your mood through the session. During a Boudoir session, it is recommended that you attend the session alone. However, one friend is permitted to come with you, but it may affect how comfortable your shoot will be for you. Even close friends change the dynamic and having someone watch will be distracting in some way. No men are permitted to attend any Boudoir session. For Birth Photography, please consult with your doctors in advance for how many "Support People" you can have with you - I will be considered a "Support Person" in most local hospitals.
Q: Boudoir Session - Who will be present for my shoot?
A: The only people present at the shoot will be you and the photographer. If you bring a friend, they will obviously be present as well.
